Welcome to
the Boxing Day Golf web site.

It all began in the year 2002 when an unlikely group of men, some with greying hair, took up the challenge of Boxing Day Golf organized by myself, Chris Bryant.

The challenge involves nine holes of golf at Woodbury Park, Devon in whatever weather has been forecast with only 3 clubs and a putter!  

As the years have passed the numbers of members of Boxing Day Golf has increased to an impressive 23!

But the point is to enjoy the morning and do as men do…………………………moan about the wife / fiancée / girlfriend, or in some cases (no names mentioned) the boyfriend! 

As each year passes I hope to increase the membership of Boxing Day Golf and to organize further events throughout the year.

I would finally like to take this opportunity to thank all the current members for their enthusiasm in making the day a success and I hope you all enjoy the site!
